Internet Explorer 5 and 5.5

Under the Tools Menu, select Internet Options. Select the Security tab, select the Internet Zone and press the 'Custom Level' button. Scroll down to the Scripting section and make sure 'Active Scripting' is enabled or set to prompt.

The procedure is the same as for 5 and 5.5, but IE 6 will usually prompt you with a bar at the top of the page that gives you the option of running the controls on the page for your current session. If you are prompted with such a bar, click it and select 'allow active content'.

Under the Tools menu, select Options. In the Options dialog box select the content tab, and make sure 'enable javascript' is checked
